Our Commitment to safety

AMS prides itself on ensuring worker safety, recognizing the inherent dangers of construction. From day one, new employees complete our safety training orientation and continue to receive training throughout their careers, with all apprentices and foremen being OSHA 30 certified. Our goal is to ensure that every worker returns home safely each day.

The Associated Builders and Contractors of West Michigan recognize companies with safe practices through their annual Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) Awards. We work hard to ensure our employees have a safe work environment, and these awards are a testament to our commitment.
