City of Wyoming Clean Water Plant

Location: Wyoming, MI

Contract: Fully Designed & Engineered

OVERVIEW

Project Summary

The project entailed a significant expansion and rehabilitation of the Wyoming Clean Water Plant Aeration facilities, carried out while ensuring uninterrupted facility operation through close coordination with the City of Wyoming. The new Aeration facility featured five 500 HP Multistage Centrifugal Blowers, among other equipment, along with a comprehensive process piping system. Additionally, the RAS/WAS building included various pumps and clarifiers, complemented by an interconnecting piping network.

During the rehabilitation phase, several components were upgraded, including pumps, clarifier drives, and piping systems, to enhance operational efficiency. Notably, this project marks the largest expansion and rehabilitation effort since the plant’s original construction, enabling the processing of wastewater more efficiently and resulting in cleaner water discharge into the Grand River. With this enhanced facility, the City of Wyoming is well-equipped to serve the local community for years to come.
